We also try Mahoe cheese, and line our stomachs with the famous Pack House fritters or handmade pies. After the markets, we visit our first vineyard. At Ake Ake winery we will sample a range of their wines, with a commentary on each. We leave Kerikeri, and Car-ferry t o Russell where lunch and wine at “The Duke” awaits us. After lunch, we board our coach to our final winery tasting at Omata Estate, accompanied by commentary and sweeping views over the Bay.
