Follow this path that traces the roots of our modern music. From Blues & Rock n Roll in Memphis, to the pinnacle of Country music at the Grand Ol Opry in Nashville, then on to Jazz in New Orleans. Follow the Music!

Spend 4 nights in Memphis in one of our preferred 3-star centrally located hotels.

Tonight, make your way down to Beale Street, grab a “Go-Cup” and bar hop, taking in the best of Blues, and Country Rock that the city has to offer.

Tomorrow you'll embark on a Memphis Music Tour

You'll be collected from your hotel and taken on a 5 hour Memphis Music Tour  

From country and rockabilly to funk and soul, Memphis has music for everyone. Stop at the Stax Museum of American Soul to learn about artists like Otis Redding and Sam & Dave. Then, visit Sun Studio, where Elvis Presley recorded, followed by the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum.

Next day you will be collected from your hotel and taken on a 3 hour Elvis Experience Graceland Tour  

Step into the glamourous world of Elvis Presley at his Graceland mansion. Walk around these hallowed halls with a guide to answer any questions you may have about The King. After paying your respects at his memorial, visit the Sincerely Elvis Museum and check out his impressive vehicle collection.

You know your way around now, so enjoy a Free Day   - yours to eat, relax, explore, or shop – it’s up to you!

If you still feel like seeing more sights, perhaps you could:

• Visit The National Civil Rights Museum, the very site that Martin Luther King Jr was shot.

• Go Shopping at Memphis Pyramid

• Take a Memphis Mississippi Riverboat Dinner Cruise

Enjoy a Greyhound trip from Memphis to Nashville.

The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to  make your way down to Broadway Street, and bar hop, taking in the best of up-and-coming Country & Country Rock bands playing for tips and hoping for their big break!

Next day  you have a 2 hour tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame

Venture to the heart of country music – Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame® – for an up-close look at legendary artists, lively exhibits and soulful tunes.

Whether you like bluegrass, Cajun, rockabilly or honky-tonk, this self-guided tour explores a century of country music culture.

Look forward to The Grand Ol Opry tomorrow

On this 1.30pm Grand legends Grand Ole Opry House Backstage Tour, experience a fully guided backstage, behind-the-scenes, dressing-room tour of the Grand Ole Opry House, where the world's most beloved and longest-running live radio show in history is still performed.  

Stand on the hallowed circle front and centre on the famous stage where the greatest voices in country music have stood and performed for many years.

Next, its on to the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Resort for a guided tour of this 4.5 -acre hotel. See its beautiful indoor gardens and waterfalls, and experience a ride on a Delta River Flatboat inside this gorgeous hotel.

Your Grand Legends tour finishes at 3pm.

You have a couple of hours to grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the Opryland area. Make sure to be back at the Grand Ole Opry around 6pm for your 7pm Show!

The last day in Nashville is a free day - yours to eat, relax, explore, or shop – it’s up to you!

Day 12: New Orleans: Experience Cajun Country Tour

This Morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken on a 9 hour Experience Cajun Country: Swamp Adventure and Plantations Full Day Tour from New Orleans.

Discover New Orleans’ Cajun and Creole cultures on this full-day swamp
and plantation sightseeing tour. In a small group, head deep into the secluded bayous to witness Cajun living and spot native wildlife.

Then visit Oak Alley Plantation and Laura Plantation to view stunning architecture, oak-lined esplanades and sugar cane fields.  

Your ticket has been upgraded to include a 2-hour, high-speed airboat ride through the bayous.

Day 13: New Orleans: Free Day

Today, is a free day - yours to eat, relax, explore, or shop – it’s up to you!
If you still feel like seeing more sights, perhaps you could:

Head to the lively Frenchmen Street. A popular spot for locals, Frenchmen Street is a four-block stretch of live music, bars, restaurants, night clubs and art galleries.

• Take a walking tour of the Garden District (located a little less than 3 miles southwest of the French Quarter) for a peek at some of the city's most beautiful homes.

• Take a cemetery tour! Some of New Orleans' must-see attractions are its cemeteries. Many of the tombs found in these "cities of the dead" are above ground to protect them from rising water levels, and they're embellished with ornate designs inspired by French and Spanish architecture.

• Steamboat Natchez. If you missed the River boat tour in Memphis – this is your last chance! The only steamboat in New Orleans, Steamboat Natchez launched in 1975 and is a traditional sternwheel steamboat that takes visitors on a tour of the Mississippi River.

Whatever you decide to do, make the most of it, because tomorrow you fly home.
