Explore the Pyramids of Mexico, swim with the largest fish on earth, and experience a country frozen in the 1950’s. This itinerary is a great taste of the best of Mexico & Cuba!
Arrive into Mexico City where you will spend 4 nights in the heart of the old Capital. Explore the centre with an orientation tour, venture out to the awe-inspiring Teotihuacan pyramids, and have a free day where you can take an optional Frida Kahlo art tour. Then fly to Merida the gateway of the Yucatan. Spend 3 nights in this sleepy city, with a street food orientation tour, and a full day excursion to the Uxmal and Kabah ruins. Leave Merida by coach to travel east via Chichen Itza – one of the great wonders of the Ancient world. Arrive into the resort city of Cancun, where you will spend 4 nights at leisure. Dive with the whale sharks, snorkel the underwater Museum, and spend time relaxing on the beach.
Depart Cancun to Cuba, with a 4 night stay in Havana. This is a land of classic cars, Mojito’s, Cuban Cigars, revolution, and great music! Enjoy a historical walking tour of the old centre, and a Classic Car tour ending up with Mojitos and watching the sun set from the historical Nacional hotel.
Finally say goodbye to Cuba and fly back to Mexico City, where you will stay 1 night at an airport hotel before catching your flight home.
